POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Direct consulting and support of sales opportunity projects at prospective and existing customers in close collaboration with Sales and Business Development 
  • Support new and existing customers on all technical inquiries (with consultancy and activities such as manufacturing benchmark parts as well as part cost analysis) 
  • Preparation of business case analyses and presentations tailored to customer needs, in close relation with sales 
  • Gathering deep knowledge of the process chain of additive manufacturing 
  • Direct application support to customers and Nikon SLM Solutions partners 
  • Negotiation and execution of customized machine acceptance test 
  • Conducting technical training at customer sites or at Nikon SLM HQ
  • Working autonomously and self-responsibly along the complete part production chain 
  • Work closely together in an international cross-functional Nikon SLM Solutions team 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master´s degree in Engineering or similar level obtained through experience 
  • First relevant work experience in the field of metal additive manufacturing 
  • Your experiences with preparation software such as Materialise Magics and laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) technologies are highly beneficial 
  • Customer oriented, self-confident and self-motivated working principles in projects 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in international teams combined with a problem-solving "can do" attitude 
  • Ability and willingness to travel on regular basis, in France and abroad in EMEA 
  • Native french speaker and fluency in English, in writing and speaking
