POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Engage in sales opportunities and provide pre-sales technical support to the sales in Asia Pacific
- Engage in benchmark preparation, printing feasibility study, build time estimation of ongoing sales projects
- Engage in machine operation, troubleshooting and quality control of benchmark parts for productivity and cost effectiveness
- Prepare build data of CAD models with AM software
- Engage in troubleshooting part quality issues
- Provide first-level support to existing customers with the focus on customer requests and continuous improvements
- Document challenges and updates based on customer feedback
- Provide high quality application training for customers
- Improve training contents constantly with revised knowledge
- Document knowledge related to application topics and skills
- Engage in application projects to develop more application cases
- Regularly report achievements and challenges QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Automation Technology or equivalent experience.
• Practical, hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
• Computer hardware/software set-up experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with 3D printing technology preferred, specifically, Metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion.
• Hands-on experience with automation systems in manufacturing plants.
• CAD software experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel internationally if requested.
