Position Description

  • You are responsible for the definition and coordination of the EMEA sales strategy
  • You set the goals for the sales area and have full budget responsibility for this area
  • You are responsible for and take over the active management of the sales pipeline as well as the support of the sales activities of your team and the affiliated trade partners
  • You further expand the necessary sales structure in line with the corporate strategy
  • You will participate in trade fairs and events for product and company presentations and support the marketing department with your market knowledge in the design of company presentations
  • You are responsible for achieving the overall objectives and ensure cross-functional and cross-regional knowledge transfer within your area to continuously improve our sales results
  • You will establish lean and efficient processes in close coordination with other departments and always have a strong customer focus while taking decisions.
  • You will ensure that your team has an exemplary understanding of customers and a close and long-term customer relationship

Position Requirements

  • You have a degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in the distribution and sale of technical products as well as several years of experience in the management of B2B sales organisations, preferably in the field of additive manufacture/mechanical engineering
  • You have experience in the sale of machine systems requiring explanation
  • Ideally you have experience in the development and implementation of sales models
  • You have strong sales skills, enjoy selling and winning new customers for a high-tech product
  • You are an experienced executive with >5 years of experience in a comparable role
  • You enjoy working with people from different cultures and can lead teams both directly and remotely with a high degree of goal and result orientation
  • You convince with your communication skills and decision-making ability, as a basis for both the development of long-term customer relationships and the achievement of goals within the organization
  • We require a communicative proficiency in written and spoken German and English as well as a very high willingness to travel
