POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and engineer IT security solutions for organizational needs.
- Consult with management and departments on IT security matters, operating systems like Fortinet Firewalls, Microsoft Defender/Endpoint Protection, and the DLP environment.
- Monitor and ensure network security, designing and implementing internal control and evaluation processes to strengthen security management.
- Communicate IT security issues actively and clearly through reports, intranet publications, and security awareness training.
- Identify optimization potentials, conduct regular audits and penetration tests, and implement findings to continuously improve security protocols.
- Implement fundamental IT security measures, manage security incidents, and drive the development of relevant IT security architectures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a comparable field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge in networking and security, including network protocols, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and familiarity with IT security standards.
- Proficiency with Windows architecture and Linux-based operating systems; experience with SIEM and XDR solutions is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Platform, Intune, ATP, and collaboration solutions such as Exchange, SharePoint, M365, and Teams.
- Experience with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and ITAR, as well as IT risk management.
- Excellent project management skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Passionate about cybersecurity, with a proactive approach to identifying new threats and defense solutions.
- Service-oriented, team player who enjoys analyzing complex business issues and connecting solutions effectively.
- Must be willing to travel to Long Beach, CA at least once or twice per quarter.
