POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As an Installation Service Technician in the metal additive manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in installing, calibrating, and maintaining our advanced 3D printing sys-tems at client sites. You will work under the guidance of the Installation Manager to ensure successful installations and provide ongoing technical support to our customers. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers can effectively integrate and operate our 3D print-ing systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and set up metal additive manufacturing systems at customer sites, ensuring all components are correctly assembled and calibrated.
  • Perform calibration and testing of the 3D printing systems to ensure optimal perfor-mance and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after installation, address-ing any issues that arise.
  • Train customers on the operation and maintenance of the 3D printing systems, en-suring they can use the equipment effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, calibrations, and customer interactions, and report any issues to the Installation Manager.
This role requires high level of travel, 70%-100% M-F.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engi-neering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a technical or field service role, preferably in the metal addi-tive manufacturing or similar high-tech industry.
  • Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, excellent problem-solv-ing abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, both domestically and interna-tional
