POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Install and set up metal additive manufacturing systems at customer sites, ensuring all components are correctly assembled and calibrated.
- Perform calibration and testing of the 3D printing systems to ensure optimal perfor-mance and accuracy.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after installation, address-ing any issues that arise.
- Train customers on the operation and maintenance of the 3D printing systems, en-suring they can use the equipment effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, calibrations, and customer interactions, and report any issues to the Installation Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engi-neering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical or field service role, preferably in the metal addi-tive manufacturing or similar high-tech industry.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, excellent problem-solv-ing abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, both domestically and interna-tional
