POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing supply chain operations within the U.S. operations organization. You will oversee logistics and inventory management, transportation, and import/export processes while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain activities. This role is critical in maintaining productive operations environments and supporting logistics, order management, service, and production processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage logistics and inventory in partnership with a third-party logistics (3PL) provider.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments at our production facility in Long Beach, CA. 
  • Ensure proactive communication with internal and external partners to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as logistics, production, and service.
  • Coordinate intercompany processes with global teams, including those in Lübeck, Germany.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven expertise in operations management, supply chain management, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of process management and global logistics, including international trade.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and third-party manufacturers (3PMs).
  • Commercial and operational mindset with excellent planning and execution capabilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Customer service focus, both internally and externally.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by relevant regulations).
  • Willingness to travel between our production facility, 3PL, and 3PM partners.
  • Forklift certification will be provided on-site at our production facility.
