POSITION DESCRIPTION:
• Non-destructive material analysis of metallic materials using computed tomography
• Preparation and follow-up of examinations on an existing CT system, as well as operating the system, reconstructing, and analyzing different geometries
• Supporting additional analysis methods such as SEM, fatigue strength testing, and chemical composition determination
• Creating test plans and contributing to process optimization and process safety monitoring
• Solving internal analysis challenges using computed tomography
• Working internationally and cross-functionally with colleagues from the development teamQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or materials science
• In-depth knowledge of materials science
• Experience in operating computed tomography systems
• Proficiency in common software and analysis tools (e.g., MS Office, MiniTab, JMP, data analysis tools)
• Confident use of CAD software for technical design
• Programming skills in Python are a plus
• Strong motivation for independent work and developing innovative solutions
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
• Team player with strong communication skills and a structured way of working
