POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- As the Specialist Engineering Quality Assurance you are responsible to develop and optimize processes and management system according to ISO 9001 regulations in collaboration with respective departments
- You ensure that engineering processes reflect mandatory standards for Nikon SLM Solutions products and comply with conformity of the design process with applicable regulations
- Regular audits of engineering organization for process adherence
- You perform root cause analysis on quality escapes and drive process updates to prevent future occurrences
- With your expertise you define and approve process templates, assist technical teams in configuring quality relevant processes and process descriptions
- Drive definition and adoption of standard or customized IT tools for product development processes
- You coordinate with other quality organizations to maintain harmonized quality and process landscape and serve as the main contact for engineering staff regarding quality management system issues
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in e.g. Chemistry, Material Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering/Chemistry or comparable
- Professional experiences, ideally in the field of quality assurance in machine manufacturing or other relevant industry
- Thorough knowledge (e.g. ISO 9001, Machinery Directive and harmonized standards) in one or more fields related to quality assurance; a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is advantageous
- Outstanding communication skills and ease in talking with commercial & technical staff, both internally, and at prospective customers & other external partners' institutions
- Excellent German and English language skills, both verbal and written
- Creative, self-disciplined, accurate, flexible, pro-active and persuasive way of working
