POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Requirements analysis and validation
- Systems design specification
- Establish systems qualification plan and procedure
- Support system certification activities
- Managing engineering change requests (HW/SW)
- Engineer Focal within New Product Introduction (NPI) projects or sustaining upgrade programs
- Ensure robust and reliable machine design through proper system validation
- 4th level support (Service troubleshooting support and customer support)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years' experience in leading multidisciplinary design program of complex system with high technology content products or proven knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing (machine, material or process development) and understanding the interrelationships between the various sub-systems of a metal 3d printer
- Experience in requirements analysis, architecture design, systems integration, testing, certification and technical documentation
- Experience in change and configuration control management
- Experience with Polarion, Doors or similar requirements management tool beneficial
- Very good attention to system design objectives and impacts to their design and production implementation
- Proficient in systems thinking to simplify complexity
- Ability to think in functions
- Ability for interdisciplinary cooperation
- High discipline in documentation
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Ability to take responsibility and make decisions
- Ability to motivate and guide the project team
- Encouraging creativity and thus pushing the boundaries of what is feasible
