POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and continuous improvement of our Microsoft-based IT environment. Your main focus will be on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, and software management, with PowerShell automation playing a key role.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and continuously improve our Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and guest accounts across Active Directory and Entra ID
- Administer and develop the Microsoft Intune environment, including device configuration, policies, compliance, and application deployment
- Design, maintain, and manage software packages and deployments, using PowerShell and enterprise software deployment solutions
- Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline software deployment, user onboarding/offboarding, group management, and other administrative processes
- Support and maintain Windows clients and servers throughout their lifecycle
- Provide 1st and 2nd Level IT Support and ensure a high level of service and user satisfaction
- Work closely with the IT Security team to continuously improve the security and reliability of our IT environment
- Support IT projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, automation, and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed vocational training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, and Windows operating systems
- Good to advanced PowerShell skills, with a proven ability to automate administrative tasks and software deployment
- Experience with software packaging, application deployment, and software lifecycle management
- Good understanding of Microsoft cloud services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and enterprise IT infrastructure
- Experience with PowerApps, VMware, Microsoft SQL Server, and PRTG is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for automation and continuous process improvement
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. German is an advantage
- A service-oriented and team-focused mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across the organization
