POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Further Development & Maintenance of Existing Product Lines with Siemens (TIA Portal) and Schneider Electric (SoMachine & Machine Expert)
- Participate in new Project-oriented plant development with Implementation based on detailed function descriptions in structured and maintainable control software
- Perform tests to validate functions and confirm requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years' experience in industrial environment
- Degree in automation technology, electrical engineering or similar
- Solid experience in PLC programming with Siemens, Schneider Electric in structured text (SCL/ST) (IEC 61131-3)
- Interface experience with OPC-UA, TCP/IP
- Fieldbus systems, PROFINET, CANopen and others
- Commissioning of drives
- Experience on Siemens TIA Portal and Schneider Electric SoMachine / Machine Expert
- Confident handling of function plans and modularization of complex control systems
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
Advantageous:
- Experience in C#, .NET (as experience for object-oriented code development)
- Version control with Git (GitHub), TIA Project Server
- Knowledge on Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.1 Build 4026, TwinSAFE, TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2, EtherCAT
- Experience with modeling languages for software design (UML)
- Experience in PLC software development for series machines
Others:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good level of English
- Willingness to travel for final commissioning and acceptance of the plant at the site of operation (exceptionally customers Worldwide) ~ 5%
